The golf course, Miwa Golf Club, was completed in November 1973 on the terrace in the Nishihata region of Miwa town. Surrounded by a beautiful view as it changes from season to season, playing on the course is very pleasant with the full sunlight of the open country and the fresh air. The course also is unique in its design.

The course features quite flat rounds separated by rows of pine trees. The layout with many ponds is well- organized, and the combination of bunkers makes the course varied, charming many visitors.

Miwa Golf Club can be reached in 50 minutes from Hiroshima by car via the Sanyo expressway which was completed recently, and 25 minutes from Iwakuni. The course has a good reputation among players for its level course, with growing numbers of visitors from the Hiroshima region.
